LibTec is an institute created for the development and propagation of libre technologies, such as free/libre software and hardware which runs on free/libre software.

To achieve those goals, we:

• organize conferences, workshops, courses, and lectures
• collaborate with other organizations and projects
• provide educational materials and documentation
• give technical support and advice to organizations and individuals
• develop free software
